Abstract
Abstract Disclosed is a light transmission particle containing a colorless sublimable dye, an acyl leucophenoxazine compound suitable for use in the formation of a color image. This particle can produce a clear color image having little fogging and having an excellent resolving power.

A light transmitting particle for forming a color image comprising: (a) 100 parts by weight of a transparent resin binder; (b) 0.3 to 3 parts by weight of at least one acyl leucophenoxazine compound having a general formula [I]: ##STR4## wherein R 1 and R 2 represent lower alkyl groups and X represents an alkyl group substituted with a halogen atom; and (c) 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of at least one coloring agent selected from the group consisting of acid dyes, basic dyes, direct dyes and pigments.
