Abstract A dyeing composition for keratinic fibers, especially human hair, comprising an aqueous solution containing a dyeing amount of at least one dye compound having the formula: <IMAGE> in which R1 is -(CH2)n-OR, R is methyl or ethyl, n is 2 or 3, or one of the corresponding acid salts.
