Abstract Microchromatographic system which consists of a test tube serving as developing chamber (2) and being closed by a stopper (3), and a thin-layer plate or foil in the form of a strip (1) fitting into the test tube, said plate or foil being coated in its lower quarter with a layer for concentration and purification (a) which merges without interruption into a thin-layer chromatographic separating layer (b) covering the remainder of the strip.
