Abstract
Abstract Derivatives of antibiotic tylosin of the formula <IMAGE> [1] <IMAGE> wherein R1 is hydrogen or lower alkanoyl, A1 and A2 are groups of which one is R2 and the other is R3, and R2 and R3 are C2-6 alkanoyl, or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, have enhanced antibacterial activity against macrolide antibiotic-resistant strains.
