Abstract

Abstract Circuit for use in the rectification and detection of alternating electrical signals. The circuit employs a feedback amplifier in combination with a non-linear rectifier element to provide an output signal which has a linear relationship to the input signal notwithstanding the non-linear characteristic of the rectifier element. In some embodiments, the circuit is also capable of power gain and/or frequency selectivity.
