Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 129 words
A process for crosslinking polychloroprene by adding crosslinking agents, characterised in that the crosslinking agents used are compounds corresponding to the formulae: ##STR3## wherein R 1 represents hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 alkyl; R 2 represents hydrogen C 1 -C 14 alkyl, C 1 -C 14 alkoxy, C 1 -C 14 alkyl phenyl, phenyl, naphthyl, hydroxyl or C 1 -C 14 alkyl hydroxyl; R 3 and R 4 , which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 alkyl; R 5 represents hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 alkyl; and R 6 and R 7 which may be the same or different, each represents hydrogen or C 1 -C 4 alkyl; and in that crosslinking is carried out in the conventional way.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 129 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 33 words
A process as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the crosslinking agent is used in quantities of from 0.1 to 15 parts, by weight, per 100 parts, by weight, of solid rubber.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 33 words
A process as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that the crosslinking agent is used in quantities of from 0.3 to 3 parts, by weight, per 100 parts, by weight, of solid rubber.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 23 words
A process as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that crosslinking is carried out at a temperature of from 5° to 270° C.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 23 words
A process as claimed in claim 1 characterised in that crosslinking is carried out at a temperature of from 40° to 200° C.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 10 words
Crosslinked polychloroprene obtained by the process claimed in claim 1.
