Abstract
Abstract An aqueous binder composition suitable for bonding glass fibers in a porous random mat comprises a phenol-formaldehyde-urea condensate, starch, an emulsified thermoplastic resin, dimer acid, an emulsified oil and, optionally, an organosilane coupling agent. Such bonded mats are useful for impregnation or lamination with asphalt or resin compositions.
