Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 176 words
A control circuit for conserving electrical energy in a dishwashing machine comprising: control means for automatically actuating various components during the operation of a dishwashing machine including a booster heater and a tank heater; said control means being coupled to a source of electrical power and preventing simultaneous operation of the booster heaters and tank heaters of a dishwashing machine; said control means further including connector means to couple the tank heaters and booster heaters to the power source to supply power thereto; said control means further including an actuator means being responsive to the commencement of a cycle of operation of the dishwashing machine to simultaneously interrupt the power directed to the tank heater and supply power to the booster heaters; and delay means operatively coupled to said actuator means and the tank and booster heaters to interrupt power directed to the booster heaters and supply power to the tank heaters in a predetermined time interval after the actuator means senses the presence of the commencement of the cycle of operation of the dishwashing machine.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 176 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 79 words
The control circuit of claim 1 wherein the control means further includes a plurality of relay means having a first relay means operatively coupled to the actuator means and the tank heaters and a second relay means operatively coupled to the actuator means and the booster heater so that upon actuation of the actuator means, the first delay will be energized thereby de-actuating the tank heaters and the second relay means will be energized to activate the booster heaters.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 17 words
The control circuit of claim 1 wherein the control means is further coupled to a fan motor.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 49 words
The control circuit of claim 2 having a plurality of relay means wherein a third relay means is operatively coupled to said first relay means and the fan motor so that the third relay means is energized after the first relay means is energized thereby actuating the fan motor.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 28 words
The control circuit of claim 2 having a plurality of relays wherein a fourth relay means is operatively coupled to actuator means and the booster and tank heaters.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 17 words
The control circuit of claim 1 wherein the delay means includes a plurality of time delay devices.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 35 words
The control circuit of claims 5 or 6 having a plurality of time delay devices wherein a first time delay element is operatively coupled between the fourth relay means and the tank and booster heaters.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 31 words
The control circuit of claim 7 wherein the first delay means energizes the fourth relay means after said pre-determined time interval to activate the tank heater and de-activate the booster heaters.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 26 words
The control circuit of claim 8 wherein said pre-determined time interval is the time it takes for the dishwashing machine to complete the cycle of operation.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 34 words
The control circuit of claims 4 or 5 having a plurality of time delay devices wherein a second time delay device is operatively coupled between the fourth relay means and the third relay means.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 27 words
The control circuit of claim 10 wherein the second time delay device de-energizes the third relay means a second pre-determined time interval to de-activate the fan motor.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 23 words
The control circuit of claim 11 wherein the second pre-determined time interval is of a longer duration than the said pre-determined time interval.
