Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 8
Claim 1
Independent Claim 74 words
In a silent discharge type gas laser device comprising a high voltage side electrode and a low voltage side electrode with the space therebetween forming a discharging space, the improvement being that all of the surface area of at least one of the electrodes is covered with a dielectric and an equivalent diameter of the electrode covered with said dielectric is in a range up to 3 times the length of the discharge space.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 74 words
In a silent discharge type gas laser device comprising a high voltage side electrode and a low voltage side electrode with the space therebetween forming a discharging space, the improvement being that all of the surface area of at least one of the electrodes is covered with a dielectric and an equivalent diameter of the electrode covered with said dielectric is in a range up to 3 times the length of the discharge space.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 42 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 1 wherein at least one of the high voltage side electrode and the low voltage side electrode is formed by a plurality of electrodes whose whole surfaces are covered with the dielectric.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 2 wherein the plurality of electrodes are arranged in the flow path of a gas flow through said discharging space.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 37 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 2 wherein the plurality of electrodes are arranged with a specified space therebetween so as to pass a laser gas in the direction of the discharging space.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 39 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 4 wherein one of the high voltage side electrode and the low voltage side electrode is formed by a flat metallic plate whose front surface faces the discharging space.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 67 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 wherein one of the high voltage side electrode and the low voltage side electrode is formed by a flat net electrode in the for of a wire gauze whose front surface faces to the discharge space whereby a part of a laser gas is passed through the gauze into the discharging space.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 66 words
A silent discharge type gas laser device according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 wherein one of the high voltage side electrode and the low voltage side electrode is formed by a flat metallic substrate having lattice or slits whose front surface faces to the discharge space whereby a part of a laser gas is passed through the lattice or slits into the discharging space.
