A high solids composition comprising a blend of (I) from 5 to 50 weight percent, based on the total solids content of the latex, of an ester diol alkoxylate of the formula: ##STR11## wherein m is an integer having a value of from 2 to 4; n is an integer having a value of from 1 to 5; x and y are integers each having a value of from 1 to 20 and R is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and (II) an aqueous acrylic latex.

A high solids composition comprising a blend of (I) from 5 to 50 weight percent, based on the total solids content of the latex, of an ester diol alkoxylate of the formula: ##STR11## wherein m is an integer having a value of from 2 to 4; n is an integer having a value of from 1 to 5; x and y are integers each having a value of from 1 to 20 and R is an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and (II) an aqueous acrylic latex.
