Abstract

Abstract An input screen of an image intensifier comprises an aluminum substrate with electrochemically deposited netty protrusions, a phosphor layer formed on the substrate and including a large number of columnar blocks defined by cracks extending from the tops of the netty protrusions toward the surface of the layer, and a photocathode deposited on the phosphor layer directly or through a protective layer.
