Claim 1
Independent Claim
132 words
A spreadable fluid adhesive and/or sealing composition hardenable under exclusion of oxygen comprising, as its essential components: (a) Liquid dicyclopentenyloxyethyl acrylate or methacrylate, or a mixture thereof as the main component, (b) From 0 to 0.1% by weight of a polymerization inhibitor serving to stabilize the composition while stored in the presence of oxygen, (c) From about 0.1 to 20% by weight of an organic percompound having 3 to 18 carbon atoms selected from the group consisting of organic peroxides, which are half-decomposed after 10 hours at temperatures above 90° C., and organic hydroperoxides as a polymerization initiator, effective under exclusion of oxygen, and (d) From about 0.1 to 5% by weight of an accelerator, the aforesaid percentages being based on the total weight of the components (a), (b), (c) and (d).
