Abstract A circuit arrangement for the control of the starting operation of a diesel engine in a motor vehicle, with a time-control switch determining the duration of engagement of a preliminary heating circuit which is adapted to be triggered by a drive-start-switch; the time-control switch is thereby adapted to be triggered also by an auxiliary switch independently of the drive-start-switch.
