Abstract

Abstract Isocyanatoethyl methacrylate/acrylate (or other vinyl monomer) copolymers of controlled low molecular weight are produced by copolymerizing the monomers with initiators, usually peroxides, at temperatures above 120° C. The copolymers are particularly useful as curing agents for urethane coating compositions.
