Abstract

Abstract Hardenable binding agents which are composed of cement and emulsions of bituminous products wherein the emulsifier is a surface-active betaine. This composition is particularly suitable for use in roadway surfaces because it possesses both excellent elastic behavior as well as good mechanical properties. Methods for the preparation of the material and the composition are also disclosed.
