Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to novel epoxy-functional polysiloxane polymers having the general formula ##STR1## in which A is a radical containing at least one epoxy group, R is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical having up to 18 carbon atoms and a is a number of from 1 to 20,000. These novel polymers may be prepared by equilibrating silanes containing at least one epoxy group with an organopolysiloxane in the presence of a base catalyst.
