Total Claims: 13
Claim 1
Independent Claim 76 words
An unexposed, undeveloped color photographic silver halide dispersion in a layer comprising a hydrophilic colloid, silver halide, and an oil droplet dispersion of a 1-phenyl-3-anilino-5-pyrazolone color photographic coupler, wherein said layer also contains therein an effective amount of a contrast enhancer of the formula ##STR20## wherein A is selected from the group consisting of ##STR21## wherein n is 1, 2, 3, or 4, and R is H, OH, or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 76 words
An unexposed, undeveloped color photographic silver halide dispersion in a layer comprising a hydrophilic colloid, silver halide, and an oil droplet dispersion of a 1-phenyl-3-anilino-5-pyrazolone color photographic coupler, wherein said layer also contains therein an effective amount of a contrast enhancer of the formula ##STR20## wherein A is selected from the group consisting of ##STR21## wherein n is 1, 2, 3, or 4, and R is H, OH, or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 27 words
The layer of claim 1 wherein said contrast enhancer is present in an amount which provides a molar ratio of enhancer/color coupler of between 0.05/1 and 2/1.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 29 words
The layer of claim 2 wherein at least some of said contrast enhancer is present in the dispersion within oil droplets within which said color photographic couplers are dissolved.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 27 words
The layer of claim 1 wherein said contrast enhancer is present in an amount which provides a molor ratio of enhancer/color coupler of between 0.4/ and 1.5/1.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 29 words
The layer of claim 4 wherein at least some of said contrast enhancer is present in the dispersion within oil droplets within which said color photographic couplers are dissolved.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 13 words
The emulsion of claim 4 wherein A is ##STR22## wherein R is H.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 13 words
The emulsion of claim 5 wherein A is ##STR23## wherein R is H.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 29 words
The layer of claim 1 wherein at least some of said contrast enhancer is present in the dispersion within oil droplets within which said color photographic couplers are dissolved.
Claim 10
