Abstract
Abstract The present invention relates to new hydantoin vinyl ethers of the formula ##STR1## in which R 1 is hydrogen or an organic radical, R 2 is an alkylene group, and R 3 and R 4 are preferably lower alkyl groups. These compounds are used for the preparation of homopolymers and copolymers, which can used as thickeners, solubilizing agents, binders, thixotropic agents, complexing agents, stabilizers and so forth.
