Abstract
Abstract The present invention provides as compositions of matter, linear random copolyester resins having intrinsic viscosities ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 deciliters per gram, said copolyester resins being the polymeric reaction products of a mixture of reactants consisting of ethylene glycol, terephthalic acid or a lower C1-C4 dialkyl ester thereof, phthalic acid or phthalic anhydride, and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid or lower C1-C4 dialkyl ester thereof and said copolyester resins having utility as solution adhesives.
