Abstract
Abstract Quaternized amine-amide condensation products which are obtained by condensation of an amine of the formula R.sub.1 R.sub.2 N--(CH.sub.2).sub.n --NH.sub.2 with a lower alkanecarboxylic acid, and subsequent quaternization with a trialkyl phosphate. These products are suitable as fiber preparation agents.

Quaternized amine-amide condensation products obtained by condensation of an amine of the formula ##STR8## with a carboxylic acid of the formula R.sub.4 --COOH and subsequent quaternization with a trialkyl phosphate of the formula ##STR9## in which formulae R 1 is an alkyl or alkenyl group having from 7 to 20 carbon atoms, R 2 is an alkyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or a hydrogen atom, R 3 and R 5 are identical or different alkyl groups having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R 4 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is 2 or 3.
