Abstract
Abstract An iso(thio)cyanate having at least two iso(thio)cyanate groups is reacted with an unsaturated amido acid at 0°-450° C., said amido acid being a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 and R 4 may be the same or different and each is hydrogen, aliphatic radical, aliphatic-aromatic radical or aromatic radical; R 1 and R 2 may additionally be halogen and y is an integer from 1-3.
