Abstract
Abstract A motor-driven heat pump arrangement includes a motor; a refrigerant circuit; a motor-driven compressor, a condenser and an evaporator connected in the refrigerant circuit; a heating medium circuit having a heating medium output line and a heating medium return line; a heat exchanger transferring waste heat from the motor to the heating medium in the heating medium circuit; a device for delivering evaporation heat from the heating medium to the refrigerant at a location situated upstream of the compressor as viewed in the direction of the refrigerant flow in the refrigerant circuit; a conduit connected to the device for passing the heating medium therethrough; and a switching arrangement for operatively connecting the conduit to or disconnecting it from the heating medium return line.
