Abstract
Abstract A musical instrument support for holding a stringed instrument in an elevated position having a bracket receiving portion secured to its base to accommodate a mating bracket carried by an adjustable swivel assembly for attachment to a vertical supporting surface or by a prop member that acts in conjunction with the instrument body support for use on a flat supporting surface. The swivel assembly permits universal angular movement of the musical instrument support relative to a wall. A collar is provided to close about and retain the neck of the musical instrument held thereon.
