Abstract
Abstract A radiation scanning-detecting and processing system having a composite detector arrangement including detector elements having mutually different sensitive areas. An information processing system coupled to such detector arrangement is effective in response to certain operational parameters to selectively vary the relative contributions of detector elements having different sensitive areas to the overall signal derived from all detector elements in combination.
