Abstract

Abstract High molecular fluoroelastomers are thermally modified by heating the fluoroelastomer at its thermally degradable temperature in the presence of oxygen under maintaining elasticity. The modified fluoroelastomers have the improved adhesiveness and processability and are easily vulcanized.
