Abstract
Abstract The synchronizing mechanism for the unfolding of articulated carrier elements which are outwardly extendable or inwardly retractable in a bellows-type arrangement on each side of a satellite body comprises a system of gear-train units placed alternately at one end of a driving carrier element. The mechanism is adapted to cooperate with at least one drive motor for folding-back or unfolding the carrier elements.
