Claims Analysis
Total Claims: 10
Claim 1
Independent Claim
53 words
A luminescent photovoltaic device comprising a curvilinear luminescent member having a plurality of sides, photovoltaic means on at least one of said sides, conduit means in heat exchange relationship with at least one of said sides, said conduit means being adapted to have a cooling fluid passed therethrough to cool said luminescent member.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim
Claim 3
Dependent Claim
34 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said conduit means covers at least part of said sides which carry said photovoltaic means thereby to cool both said luminescent member and said covered photovoltaic means.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
28 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said photovoltaic means is carried on one side of said luminescent member and said conduit means covers said photovoltaic means side.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
16 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said conduit means covers essentially only said photovoltaic means.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim
22 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said luminescent member is cylindrical and the center of said cylinder forms said conduit means.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim
23 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said luminescent member is semicylindrical and closed on its open side to form said conduit means.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim
24 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein a heat radiating means is integrally attached to said luminescent member and extends into said conduit means.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim
36 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein a plurality of concentric spaced apart round cylindrical luminescent members are employed, and said conduit means includes the center of the innermost cylinder and the annulus between adjacent cylinders.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim
26 words
A device according to claim 1 wherein said luminescent member is sinusoidal and closed on its open sides to provide a plurality of individual conduit means.
