Abstract
Abstract Terpolymer emulsions comprising (1) an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid (2) an alkyl ester of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, and (3) an amide of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or styrene or a derivative thereof of the formula ##STR1## in which R 2 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl are useful as thickening agents, particularly in butadiene-styrene latices.
