Abstract A polymeric finely-divided powder coating composition comprising a homogeneous blend of certain quantities of a solid polymeric material having a comparatively low molecular weight and containing certain reactive groups blended with certain quantities of tetrakismethoxymethylglycoluril.

A polymeric finely-divided powder coating composition comprising a homogeneous blend of from about 70% to about 95%,by weight, of (A) a solid polymeric material having a molecular weight of from about 1,000 to about 100,000 and containing from about 1% to about 20%, by weight, of a carboxyl group and/or an alcoholic hydroxy group and/or an amide group, based on the total weight of said polymeric material and, correspondingly, from about 30% to about 5%, by weight of (B) tetrakismethoxymethylglycoluril, wherein said coating composition has a softening point above about 55° C., wherein the total combined weight of (A) and (B) is 100%.
