Abstract

Abstract Improvements in phosphonitrilic polymers and compositions based on the same, possessing outstanding low temperature flexibility and good physical strength over a broad range of service conditions, are obtained by the incorporation of some unsaturated substituents in the side chains on the --P=N-- backbone, to adapt the polymers to vulcanization with sulfur accelerated cure systems or radiation cure.
