Abstract
Abstract Polymers of compounds having the formula ##STR1## wherein n and m are, individually, 0 or 1, X is an anion, R 1 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl and R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are, individually, hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, alkaryl or aralkyl, and methods for their production, are disclosed.

A method for the production of a copolymer of claim 1 which comprises copolymerizing a compound having the formula ##STR15## wherein n and m are, individually, 0 or 1, X is an anion, R 1 is hydrogen, methyl or phenyl and R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are, individually, hydrogen, alkyl (C 1 -C 4 ), aryl (C 6 -C 10 ), alkaryl (C 7 -C 11 ) or aralkyl (C 7 -C 11 ) in the presence of a monoethylenically unsaturated monomer copolymerizable therewith and a polymerization catalyst and recovering the resultant copolymer.
