Abstract

Abstract Polymers comprising randomly repeating units of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is linear or branched C 1 -C 10 alkoxy, R 2 is linear or branched C 1 -C 10 alkyl, hydrogen or halogen, and W is C 2 to C 10 alkenyl-substituted aryloxy. These novel polymers are elastomers and may be used to form flexible and semirigid foams and coatings. They display good fire retardance and low smoke levels.
