Polyurethanes produced from phosphorus containing flame retarding agents which are reactive with isocyanates
Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to novel halogen-free flame retarding agents and a process in which they are used in the production of polyurethanes. These compounds are represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein: R 1 represents C 1 -C 5 alkylene groups which may be branched, R 2 represents C 1 -C 3 alkyl groups which may be branched or R 1 OH and R 3 represents C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, C 1 -C 8 -dialkylamino, C 1 -C 4 -oxyalkyl, C 1 -C 4 -thioslkyl, C 6 -C 14 -aryl or C 7 -C 15 -aralkyl groups or ##STR2## and A and L may be identical or different and represent C 1 -C 10 -alkyl groups, which may be branched, benzyl groups or OR groups, wherein R represents an alkyl group, with 1-8 C atoms which may be branched, or a benzyl group.
