Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to monomethine dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein Z 1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl Z 2 is hydrogen or Z 1 Q is CN, COOR 2 or CONR 3 R 4 , R 1 u.R 4 is hydrogen or alkyl, R 2 is alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl and R 3 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, aryl or acyl. The dyestuffs are suitable for the dyeing of natural and synthetic fibers, which are dyed in orange or red shades with high brilliancy.
