Abstract The invention relates to N-acetylmuramyl-D-alanyl-D-isoglutamine and to N-acetylmuramyl-L-alanyl-L-isoglutamine which possess immunosuppressive or immunodepressive properties, as well as to the pharmaceutical compositions containing one of said compounds in association with a pharmaceutical vehicle.
