Abstract

Abstract A drain cleaner composition comprising an inorganic peroxide has a high cleaning effect and is suitable for cleaning drainpipes, traps, filter pipes and the like. This composition does no harm to human bodies and it can be stored and used with safety, and it does not exert a corrosive action on metallic pipes and other metallic objects. The cleaning effect of this composition is enhanced when a heat-treated inorganic peroxide is used or when a surface active agent is used in combination with the inorganic peroxide.
