Abstract

Abstract The title compounds are prepared by contacting a linear, acylated polyalkylenepolyamine, such as poly(N-propionyl)ethylenimine, and a diisocyanate, such as toluene diisocyanate, at a temperature of about 30°-200° C. These novel, crosslinked polyalkylenepolyamines are useful water absorbants and bleach Kraft-pulp effluent decolorants.
