Abstract
Abstract This invention concerns the preparation of 1-substituted imidazole metal salt complexes and their use particularly as systemic fungicides. The preparation of the metal salt complexes of these imidazoles produces a safening effect, i.e., the ability to reduce undesirable plant growth regulatory activity and phytotoxicity while retaining the efficacy of the compounds against phytopathogenic fungi.
