Abstract
Abstract A substantially organic solvent-free capsule contains an inner core of a fabric antistat/softener material and an outer wall of a polycondensation product formed by interfacial polymerization. A liquid fabric conditioning composition containing the aforementioned capsules possesses desirable softening and antistat properties.

A liquid fabric conditioning composition, consisting essentially of: (a) from 0.1% to 15% of substantially organic solvent-free capsules having a maximum particle dimension of less than 400 microns having an inner core of a fabric antistat/softener material and, encapsulating said inner core, an outer wall of a polycondensation product formed by interfacial polycondensation; (b) from 1% to 20% of unencapsulated cationic fabric antistat/softener material; and (c) the balance water.
