Abstract
Abstract Quinacridone compounds are disclosed which may be represented by the general formula: <IMAGE> (I) wherein X represents hydrogen or hydroxy; Y represents hydroxyalkoxy containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, preferably 1 to 2 carbon atoms or carboxylic ester COOR; R represents alkyl which preferably contains 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and Z represents hydrogen or halogen, preferably chlorine or bromine, or alkyl or alkoxy containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, preferably 1 to 2 carbon atoms.
