Abstract
Abstract This invention relates to a method of impregnating wood with boric acid or boron oxide. In particular it relates to a method of introducing boric acid into wood products by application thereto of boric acid esters of alcohols and thereafter hydrolyzing the esters to deposit boric acid within the wood product.
