Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 70 words
In a method of fabricating a filament laminate for use in a composite article, the steps of: bonding a plurality of collimated filaments between two sheets of a first material; removing a portion of at least one sheet from the laminate; replacing said removed portion with a second material characterized by an impact strength different from that of said removed portion; and bonding said second material to said first material.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 70 words
In a method of fabricating a filament laminate for use in a composite article, the steps of: bonding a plurality of collimated filaments between two sheets of a first material; removing a portion of at least one sheet from the laminate; replacing said removed portion with a second material characterized by an impact strength different from that of said removed portion; and bonding said second material to said first material.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 61 words
In a method of fabricating a filament laminate for use in a composite article, the steps of: bonding a plurality of collimated filaments between two sheets of materials; removing a portion of at least one sheet from the laminate; replacing said removed portion with the same material as comprises the other sheet; and bonding said replacing material to the remaining material.
Claim 4
