Abstract
Abstract A herbicide which comprises a compound as an active ingredient having the formula ##STR1## wherein X represents --H or --Cl; Y represents halogen atom or cyano group; Z 1 represents --H or methyl group; Z 2 represents --H, methyl or ethyl group; Z 3 represents cyano group or ##STR2## group; R represents hydroxy group, --O-- cation group, C 1 - C 4 alkylthio group, C 2 - C 4 alkenylthio group, C 2 - C 4 alkynylthio group, C 1 - C 4 alkoxy group, C 1 - C 4 alkoxy- C 1 - C 4 alkoxy group, C 2 - C 4 alkenyloxy group, C 2 - C 4 alkynyloxy group, amino group, C 1 - C 4 alkylamino group, di-C 1 - C 4 alkylamino group or anilino group which can be substituted with halogen atom or C 1 - C 4 alkyl group.
