Abstract
Abstract Amorphous metallic alloys having substantial amounts of one or more of the elements of Mo, W, Ta and Nb evidence both high thermal stability, with crystallization temperatures ranging from about 650° C to 975° C, and high hardness, with values ranging from about 800 to 1400 DPH (diamond pyramid hardness).
