Abstract
Abstract New phenoxy-phenyl ethers, their manufacture and use for the control of insects and representatives of the order acarina are disclosed. The compounds correspond to the formula ##STR1## wherein W represents --O--, --S--, R 1 represents C 1 --C 6 -alkyl, C 3 --C 6 -cycloalkyl or C 5 --C 6 -cycloalkenyl, C 2 --C 4 -haloalkenyl, C 3 --C 5 -alkynyl, C 2 --C 4 -alkenyl or benzyl, R 2 represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, R 3 represents hydrogen or methyl, or R 2 and R 3 together with the chain represent a 5- or 6-membered saturated ring, and R 4 and R 5 each represent hydrogen or methyl.
