Abstract
Abstract Self-extinguishing, non-dripping, melt processible copolyesters of reduced toxicity are provided from a mixture of diols comprising from about 25 to 60 mole percent of phenolphthalein and from about 75 to 40 mole percent of ethylene glycol and a dicarboxylic acid comprising isophthalic acid and/or terephthalic acid.
