A gas mask of the type comprising an outer mask and a separate inner mask having a nose arch and adapted to cover the nose and mouth of a wearer, comprising: a support structure for glasses and means for attaching the support structure directly to the nose arch of the inner mask in order to obtain correct positioning of the glasses in relation to the wearer's face, and in which the nose arch has at least one opening for receiving the means for attaching the glass support structure to an adjustable depth in order to adjust the vertical position of the glass support structure, said means for attaching the glass support structure being tightly held in said opening.
