Abstract

Abstract Acrylic ester copolymers are obtained by copolymerizing acrylic esters with α-haloalkanecarboxylic acid vinyl esters and α, β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and optionally other unsaturated monomers in aqueous dispersion. The copolymers can be cross-linked with alkalies after polymerization and may be used as pressure-sensitive adhesives of high heat stability.
