Abstract

Abstract 4,4-Diphenyl-2-hydroxybutylamines are prepared by condensing amines with 1,2-epoxy-4,4-diphenylbutanes. The new compounds exist in the free base form, as acid addition salts and quaternary ammonium salts, and exhibit antiarrhythmic activity.
