Abstract

Abstract A rotatable multi-surface reflector for bicycles has a reflector assembly mounted on a bicycle and connected to a transmission which moves the reflector assembly as a function of the angular speed of a wheel on which the transmission is mounted. The reflector assembly includes a mechanism connected to the transmission for converting the circular motion received from the transmission into an irregular motion so as to cause the reflector assembly to provide a flashing effect when light is impinging on reflection surfaces provided in the reflector assembly.
